  9. Only making my internal ice cream machine battle harder! I really want one... then again, I'm worried about actually making ice cream!

  10. I can't wait to try the recipe!! I just made homemade ice cream for the first time two nights ago w.o. a machine. It's pretty easy, it just requires a lot of handling. I think the consistency might be better with a machine. I'll have to buy one if I keep finding good recipes like this one =)

  15. You could also make it vegan by using soy creamer instead. Silk Soy Creamer is a good one, and you can change it up by using one of the flavored ones

  16. This makes me want the ice cream attachment for my kitchen-aid even more, *starts shaking the gifts under the tree to see if it might be there*

Dumplings

I'm actually laughing at myself! What have I got into? Trying to make dumplings?? Well, I have seen my late grandmother make them a long time ago. I can remember the ingredients but not the measurements! So, it took me about two hours to come up with the perfect recipes, and I'm glad I did! It was an instant hit! They were all gone, all gobbled up! Make the dough first, add about 480 to 500g of all-purpose flour with 300ml of water. Knead the dough and let it rest. You should be able to make 40 dumplings with the dough. Meanwhile, prepare the filling for the dumplings. Click here for the dumpling wrappers video.
