Grilled Jumbo Prawns

I like grilling seafood because they are quick to cook and not to mention, also takes less time to marinate. Seafood generally taste great by itself. So, a simple marinate should suffice. Once done, I usually prefer to serve them with some salsa. For this recipe, I have paired them with a cool Tropical Fruits Salsa. Well, if you like salsa, just click here to find a selection of salsa recipes postings.

Grilled Jumbo Prawns

Ingredients

1 lb Jumbo Prawns, deveined
1/4 Cup Olive Oil
2 Cloves Garlic, minced
Juice of 1 Lime
1 tsp Chili Flakes
Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Sea Salt to taste

Skewers (if wooden, soaked for 30 minutes)

Method

Mix all the ingredients with the prawns. Marinate in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes or up to 1/2 an hour.
Preheat a gas grill on medium to high heat. Thread the prawns on skewers and grill for about 3 minutes on each side or until cook throughout. Serve immediately.
